SÁMI JUOVLLAT / SÁMI CHRISTMAS (2024)

Groundbreaking concert with Kajsa Balto & KORK and a star-studded lineup of guest artists. First ever Sámi Christmas concert performed in one of Norway's most prestigious venues. The sold-out concert was filmed by NRK and broadcast in prime time as part of the orchestra's Christmas tradition. Jakop was in charge as music producer for the concert and TV-production, and his efforts was rewarded with a nomination for Gullruten (2024).

KAJSA BALTO & KORK - SÁMI JUOVLLAT OPERAS (2025)
On November 7, Kajsa Balto’s unforgettable Sámi Christmas concert at the Oslo Opera House with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK) will be released as an album. The album is an important contribution to the diversity of Christmas music, presenting a unique blend hymns and yoik. The recording was made under the direction of conductor Erik Arvinder and produced by Jakop Janssønn.
